1. introduction
DIN 30CrNiMo8 steel is a medium carbon alloy structural steel which contain nickel,chromium and molybdenum. It's with medium hardenability designed for heavy duty compoents. It is also known as it's resistance to variable loads and impacts. It could characterize by high elasticity and tensile strength reaching over 1560Mpa. This material is used for production of heavily loaded parts, shafts and drive axes, steering shafts, crankshafts of engine, crews and element exposed to temperatures in the power industy. But this material is not suitable for welding and ultimately require additional preheating.
